Orofino Students To Join Crapo On August 'Capitol Watch' PROGRAM

Washington, DC â??Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will welcome students from Orofino High School to his August â??Capitol Watchâ?? cable program. The students participated in the â??We the People,â?? civics competition for high school students, in Washington, D.C. earlier this year. Crapoâ??s program will air on August 8th, 2006, from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. Mountain/6 to 6:30 p.m. Pacific. â??These Orofino students are some of the best Idaho has to offer,â?? Crapo said. â??They show a sincere interest in learning about how the government and constitution work and go the extra mile in their education. They had a wonderful teacher, Cindy Wilson, leading them in the competition, they represented our state well and I look forward to talking with them on my program.â??â??Capitol Watchâ?? will air in the following cities over the following cable channels:Boise/Nampa/Caldwell11Coeur dâ??Alene19Ketchum97Idaho City37Idaho Falls/Blackfoot12Lewiston13Moscow11Pocatello22Twin Falls17 The program is sponsored by the Idaho Cable Telecommunications Association (ICTA) and local cable systems throughout Idaho. Due to equipment upgrades or scheduling conflicts, the program is not always available on every cable system in the state.
