Senator to visit Ada, Canyon, Owyhee counties
Washington, DC - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will discuss efforts to stop violence against women and children next week during several stops in Southwestern Idaho. Crapo will join law enforcement personnel, prosecutors, judges, and others for a tour of the new Hopeâ??s Door facility in Caldwell, and record and discuss public service announcements targeting ending such violence. April is Idaho Child Abuse Prevention Month.In Marsing, Crapo will honor officials at the Hope House facility with his Spirit of Idaho Award. He will also congratulate students at Peregrine Elementary in Meridian for raising funds for the Red Cross of Greater Idaho.
