Crapo Statement on Senate Confirmation of Idaho Nominees

Washington, D.C.--U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) issued the following statement after the Senate confirmed, by a vote of 51-47, four nominees from Idaho for various positions at the federal level.

“The four Idahoans confirmed by the Senate today are intimately aware of the many commonsense needs of our state. Their expertise and knowledge will promote the opinions and on-the-ground experiences of Idaho’s constituents at the federal level. I look forward to working with them in these new capacities.”

The four confirmed nominees include:

  • Michael Boren to be Under Secretary of Agriculture for Natural Resources and Environment;
  • Alex Adams to be Assistant Secretary for Family Support, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services;
  • Bart McKay Davis to be United States Attorney for the District of Idaho for the term of 4 years; and
  • Brandon Judd to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Chile.
