CRAPO PLANS iTOWNHALL MEETING

Idahoans can participate in statewide teleconference February 6th

Washington, DC - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo announces he will hold his first iTownHall meeting of 2008 this coming Wednesday, February 6. The new technology behind the iTownHall meeting allows Idahoans to join in via telephone from any location in Idaho. Participation is voluntary, and listeners are invited to ask the Senator about any number of topics regarding federal policies or legislation.

"Joining the townhall discussion is as easy as signing up at my official website, http://crapo.senate.gov and clicking the iTownHall meeting area on the homepage." Crapo said. "This new technology allows me to connect with Idahoans from all over the state when I am working legislation here in Washington."

Crapo hosted his initial iTownHall meeting last November 14, hosting more than 600 people during the one-hour duration of the call. An mp3 file and transcript of that call are available on Crapo's website.

The call on Wednesday, February 6 will begin at 7:30 p.m. Mountain/6:30 p.m. Pacific Time. Those wishing to sign up should do so before 5 p.m. local time on Tuesday, February 5.
