Major:
Public Policy and Administration.
Policy Areas of Interest:
National Security, Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence and Nuclear Energy.
Career Goals:
I want to work as an analyst for the federal government.
Favorite Part of Idaho and Why:
I enjoy the small farm town feelings and a wide-open place to raise a family.
What Led You to Applying for this Internship:
I enjoyed interning for Senator Crapo the first time and wanted to come back.
Additional Thoughts:
I love how policy is structured and the steps to evaluate create and establish it in the form of a law, rule or procedure.
College/University:
Boise State University
Major:
Political Science and Legal Studies.
Policy Areas of Interest:
Education, Immigration, Technology and AI.
Goals after Graduation:
After graduation, I hope to attend law school. Currently, I am interested in corporate or business law; however, I am interested in expanding my knowledge and learning about all facets of law.
Favorite Part of Idaho and Why:
McCall — I grew up spending most summers on the lake and I believe there are very few things in the world close to the beauty of the city and the peacefulness of the environment.
What Led You to Applying for this Internship:
What led to applying to the internship: I wanted to learn more about what it means to work in politics. I have never considered politics as a career path and wanted to understand more about what goes into policy work and expand my knowledge.
Additional Thoughts:
I have already gained a wealth of knowledge and have been exposed to career paths I did not know existed. The Crapo staff has been overwhelmingly welcoming and supportive allowing me ample opportunities for education and growth.

Criminal Justice
Policy Areas of Interest:
The Justice System and Health Care.
Goals after Graduation:
Attend graduate school for forensic psychology or criminal justice.
Favorite Part of Idaho and Why:
The people that I have met and the relationships that I have built while growing up in Idaho. I also love the spring and fall weather.
What Led You to Applying for this Internship:
I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and apply for the opportunity to learn and develop in one of the most important places in our country.
Additional Thoughts:
Everyone has been incredibly kind and helpful thus far, and I can’t wait to get to know everyone better!

Taxation, Second Amendment issues and immigration.
Goals after Graduation:
Attend law school, after which I plan to work in politics or government.
Favorite Part of Idaho and Why:
McCall, due to the beautiful lake and wilderness surrounding the town.
What Led You to Applying for this Internship:
I was made aware of the internship through the Boise State School of Public Service and thought the opportunity was too good to pass up. Senator Crapo has a long track record of being a conservative who defends American values. Additionally, the experience that I gain through this position will translate into my future career goal of working in politics or government.
Additional Thoughts:
It is an honor to have been selected for the position; I am thankful to the Crapo team for the opportunity.

I want to work in government affairs to build bridges between government leaders and the public.
Favorite Part of Idaho and Why:
I enjoy skiing at Pebble Creek and Pomerelle, visiting Mesa and Shoshone Falls and hiking Scout and Old Tom Mountains
What Led You to Applying for this Internship:
I love Idaho. I want to help the local constituents understand more about what is happening on Capitol Hill and how Senator Crapo is working to best represent the people of the great state of Idaho.
