Statewide cable call-in program airs Tuesday, March 8th
Washington, DC â?? As the Senate Budget Committee prepares to begin consideration of the Fiscal Year 2006 federal budget resolution, Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will discuss those proposals with Idahoans during the March airing of his â??Capitol Watchâ?? program. Crapo is a member of the Senate Budget Committee, which will vote on a proposed budget later next week, as well as the Senate Finance Committee, which will review tax reform and simplification proposals and plans to reform Social Security. â??Capitol Watchâ?? airs statewide on Idaho cable television stations the second Tuesday of each month. Idahoans are invited to call in and ask questions of Senator Crapo during the program, which runs from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Mountain/6 to 6:30 p.m. Pacific on Tuesday, March 8th. Crapo will also discuss his efforts to improve and streamline the Endangered Species Act. His bill to create wilderness and preserve ranching in Owyhee County through the â??Owyhee Initiativeâ?? will also be a topic for the March 8th program. â??Capitol Watchâ?? will air in the following cities over the following cable channels: Boise/Nampa/Caldwell 11 Coeur dâ??Alene 19 Idaho City 37 Idaho Falls/Blackfoot 19 Lewiston 13 Moscow 11 Pocatello 22 Twin Falls 60 The program is sponsored by the Idaho Cable Telecommunications Association (ICTA) and local cable systems throughout Idaho. Local cable systems provide access and the channel numbers may vary from month to month.
