Crapo Welcomes Interns to D.C. Office

Washington, D.C. – Three Idaho students and one student from Australia are getting a firsthand look at the workings of Congress and the federal government while serving Idahoans as interns for the spring semester in the Washington, D.C. office of Idaho Senator Mike Crapo.
“As a former Capitol Hill intern, I recognize the immense value of internships in professional development and kindling interest in the political process and public service,” said Crapo. “We are also grateful for the dedicated service of interns to help advance the interests of Idahoans. “
Kyle Cole grew up in Hailey and is now a senior at George Washington University. He is a senior majoring in political science and geography.
Charlotte Foss is a senior at Boise State University. A native of Mankato, Minnesota, she is majoring in political science with an emphasis on political philosophy.
Kyra Maples is a junior at the University of Idaho. She is a native of Parma and is majoring in political science with a minor in sociology.
Gemma Whiting is in her third year, majoring in political science and international relations for an arts degree at the University of Western Australia. She is from Perth, Western Australia, and is participating in an international internship program on Capitol Hill.
