111th Congress: Action on Education

During the 111th Congress, I have authored and agreed to co-sponsor the following selected measures which deal with our country's educational system and policies. This is not a comprehensive list of all the legislation I have co-sponsored related to education. At present, I am still evaluating legislation in the 111th Congress to determine if I should add my co-sponsorship and support.  Updates will be posted here when those decisions are made.

Other actions I have taken to support Idaho education include:

• Advocated for funding for critical education projects and programs in Idaho in the FY2010 budget.
• Led a Dear Colleague Letter to the Labor/HHS Appropriations Subcommittee in support of adequate funding for the Impact Aid Program for FY10.
