Seniors Recognition/Awards

It is an honor to represent the people of Idaho. It is my goal to do so in a manner that reflects the values and traditions of Idahoans. During the course of my public service, I have been fortunate to be recognized by many tremendous organizations. Many of these awards are based on my voting record, and my efforts to serve the people of Idaho.

Breathing For Life Award

Awarded by the Foundation of the American Thoracic Society in May 2010.

Presented for leadership role in securing pulmonary rehabilitation coverage for Medicare beneficiaries.

 

Benjamin Franklin Award


Awarded by 60 Plus Association in 2002

 

Super Friend of Seniors


Awarded by 60 Plus Association in 2001 and 2000

Presented for support of legislation to save Social Security and for "senior friendly" votes.

 

Guardian of Seniors' Rights


Awarded by 60 Plus 105th and the 109th Congresses

Presented for efforts to promote "senior friendly" legislative initiatives.

 
United Seniors Association

Best Supporting Member of Congress for Seniors

Awared by the United Seniors Association for 105th Congress
