Environment and Public Lands Recognition/Awards
It is an honor to represent the people of Idaho. It is my goal to do so in a manner that reflects the values and traditions of Idahoans. During the course of my public service, I have been fortunate to be recognized by many tremendous organizations. Many of these awards are based on my voting record, and my efforts to serve the people of Idaho.
Protecting our environment doesn't have to be at odds with private property rights. Idaho has tremendous natural resources that contribute significant to the quality of life of many--not just in recreational value, but in many ways, including economic. It has been my experience that a commonsense approach using collaboration and cooperation can resolve many of the challenging issues that involve our land, environment and natural resources. To learn more about my position on the various issues involvement environmental and public land policy, please visit the Environment & Natural Resources section of this website.
